You cannot refer yourself however I think you CAN refer others in the same household.

I understand that bit thanks but my son has a sim and l will use his number to get mine so we both get £5.00, l wont use my phone enough to use up all the credit so l will pass it onto my son, can he use the £5.00 which will be credited to his account for rec me to pay his £5.00 cancellation charge.

Cancellation charge should only apply if you want to withdraw any credit you have deposited. Ask CS if they are willing to cancel for no charge.
