Bandcd.com fraudsters !!!!! Stay away !!!

im not shouting the odds but the fact of the matter is they have took my money from me which was under fifty pounds and no contact has been made from them, i put this advert on to warn others of this site, it wasnt nasty either but to help other people, some people have had good experiences and all i said was lucky them, at the end of the day there is no way of getting my money back from this company apart from my bank which they doing at the moment, many other people are in the same situation as me with this same site, if a normal company owns a normal busness surely they would reply to well over 35 emails over a different period, its not fair on innocent people like me, who hasnt got much money as it is as im disabled to have money taken and nothing to show for it, i was giving my view because if this continues and people are out of pocket etc then they are just going to be getting away with it, and its just not fair, im going to continue giving my view along with 100's of others who have had bad experiences with these fraudsters!!!!!!!!!!

Ok......

Did you ensure to send it to the correct email contact address? They may have not received it!

Did you ensure to include your order number in the correspondence emails? If you have forgotten to do this, they may be unable to return correspondence to you.


I ask these questions because bangcd.com are not a fly-by-night webshop: they have been trading for over 5 years, and if they were intentionally ripping off all of their customers, they would be closed and the owners would be in prison by now...

I'm also chasing a refund having ordered a DVD set on 22nd Dec and no word since. I contacted them a couple of days ago and they admitted they were having supplier issues.

yes but they didnt send any confirmation email afterwards like other websites do therefore i have no order number, i have proof the money was taken on my bank statement and the bank are now trying to rescue my money, i know they have been trading since 2005 but its not the point the point of the matter is they have done this to many other people not just me, please take the time to look on other review websites and you will see, its not fair, i also have sent emails to the correct email address from the email address provisded on their site, well over 35 times, so its their lack of communication skills that are letting them down and as i said before this has not !! just happened to me, it has happened to many others :mad:

i hope you get your dvd from them and wont end up in the same boat as me and many others have, its nice to hear that you have had a reply from them.

Bang CD are most definitely one of the rudest, shittest CD/DVD companies on the web and I would not go near them with a 10 foot barge pole after my experiences. That said, this does not mean they are fraudsters. I would take the advice given earlier in this thread and avoid throwing slanderous comments in your posts for your own good as you could get in all sorts of grief. You simply cannot claim a company is fraudelent without any hard evidence.

E-mail wise, they never reply to anything unless your email is totally kicking off about something. If you have just a query then I wouldnt even bother as they will completely ignore it. I had one reply over a 5 week period which was dam right rude and so unprofessional, it actually sounded like someones 12 year old kid had replied to me! I immediately replied to that email and received nothing more. With the huge number of excellent companies out there I would not even bother with these. I placed 2 orders in total. The first being for just one CD/DVD which did arrive (in time may I add) but it was "Printed in Singapore" which I have no problem with to be honest except the DVD was region 3 so would not work on my cheap Sony player (the only one I had at the time which is unlockable which is a pain in the !!!!) If they had replied to my initial email and took this back and refunded or sent the correct one with region 2 DVD I would have had no problem (it was clearly advertised as region 2) but I got absolutely nothing back from them. It could be that their contact addresses are temperamental and they never actually received some of my emails in which case they seriously need to fix that.

A reputable company? - questionable, good customer service? - you're having a laugh but fraudsters - I very much doubt it. As the guy said above no company can stay trading for 5 years if they play games like that. It simply cannot happen.

They weren't the best when I used them before christmas, took 7 weeks to get one cd, didn't reply to my emails until after christmas even though I ordered in the 2nd week of november!! I got the CD in the end but I won't be using them again, plus I didn't realise it would be coming from overseas - much easier to pay a pound extra and go to HMV! I only used them cos they accepted paypal lol.

I will still use them as we are covered by using a cc anyway.I wouldn't dream of giving out my bank details to any company on the net or even over the phone unless they were a really established company and I was abs sure.

I've bought loads of CDs over the last 2/3 years from BangCD.

Never had an issue; often take a little longer to arrive than other retailers but I accept that for the price I pay.

In future i shall be sticking with sites i trust like amazon or play.com, they may be a little more dearer by a few pounds or so but at least they will give you good customer service and the delivery of goods !!!!:T

No money is taken out anyones accounts right away, its authorized and put aside. It's just like anything bought using debt/credit card all transactions are sometimes pre-authorized but funds are still available this can cause problems if you take the funds out.
