Best 42" Plasma or Lcd Available Anyone Know ??????? Under £400

Hi everyone does any one know the best place to buy a 42 " plasma or lcd tv? cheapest at the moment hopefully under £400

If you can afford an extra £30 I would suggest buying it from e-bay. I have bought one yesterday and waiting delivery, so far so good. The TV is the LG 42LH3000. One of their lower range models, but score fantastically well in reviews. It's 42" LCD, Full HD 1080p, and the contrast ratio (50,000:1) is amazing for such a low price, seriously good in comparison to some of the other major models and provides deeper blacks etc. Fantastic for gaming as well. It sells in shops anywhere from £499 upwards.

If you go to ebay and search for Lg 42LH300, then in the left hand column select television. Scroll down the page and it's on there for buy it now @ £410.00 with a £20 delivery charge.

If you can't afford the extra £30.00 and don't mind whether it is Full HD or not, or any of the previously mentioned things, i would suggest having a look at the first 3 plasma tv's on Richer Sounds website, good tv's from reliable brands, but for the extra £30 I would personally buy the LG hands down.

Go to Richer Sounds website, select plasma tv's and scroll down the page a bit, it will start from lowest price first when you get to the main list. The three at the top are those I am referring to.

Any none branded tv's or tv's from Acoustic Solutions, Alba, Tecknika, Goodmans etc for under £400 are not worth it unless you don't mind the key aspects of the tv being very low.
