N97 Mini memory
On the memory details on a N97 mini, what things are classed under OTHER FILES?
The phone has around 275mb in total on its C drive. Im using 10mb for applications but not sure what is using the other 65mb. I have got no videos, music or sound clips saved onto the phone.
If i go on memory details, it says 65mb is being used by OTHER FILES. I have cleared the cache and all emails. How do i find out what is using the memory?
thanks

System files probably - those which you will not be able to see. You could always do a phone reset to confirm that is the case but make a backup of anything important first.0

thanks, the only problem is that the memory being used is going higher and higher. At this rate, all the memory will be all used up.0

Not having the phone myself so guessing - it might be mms and sms messages being stored on your phone memory.
Usually with newer mobiles you can switch the primary memory for usage to be the memory card - that should cure the problem if you have 1 gig plus memory card in it which I assume the n97 probably does.
