NO coffee it is disgusting!
Prefer the smell of fresh air, the faint hint of lemon or vanilla if it's too cold for open windows. Lemon always smells clean without being clinical. Empty the kitchen bin, you don't always notice the start of a whiff if you have been home all day.

But good luck with the viewing and selling generally.
Yes it was Housenetwork, didn't find them any use at all, no viewings from them or anything. What a waste of money :mad:No you're not a vegetarian if you eat any animal or fish, so do not insult genuine veggies by calling yourself one!

If you have dogs, PLEASE lock them up somewhere, or get someone to take them for a walk during the viewing.
We really don't like dogs, and we recently viewed the house of a dog-lover, who just couldn't understand why we didn't fall in love with her dogs at first sight. The mutts were constantly jumping up at us, licking us and trying to sniff up my skirt all the way around her house!
The house stank of dogs too. We didn't buy the house.
My sincere apologies to all responsible dog-owners on this forum - I'm not trying to tar you all with the same brush!

Why stop at the kitchen? Empty ALL bins in the house - study, lounge, bathroom, bedroom - all of them.
You may routinely leave a bin-bag or carrier bag lying in a bin to make it easy to pick up the trash - remove this and leave a clean, empty bin in its place.0 -

I read somewhere that almost one-third of viewers won't like pets, and another third are likely to be allergic to them.
Why take a chance on your viewers being in these categories? Pets and children don't mix with viewings.0 -
gotta say agree with everything googler has said..............my house looks like a show home when i'm having a viewing, we even put away the kettle, toaster, empty all bins in EVERY room and hid them in cupboards as well, we even put away the loo brush & TOILET SEAT DOWN, both bits.

Sell our house and buy another one0 -
When we had to sell the marital home my ex and my son went out leaving just my 8 year old daughter and I at home. It was a horrible day absolutely chucking it down with rain and so dark and gloomy.
Anyway, I made sure the house was immaculate, clean and tidy. Then I lit some candles and put them on the hearth with the fire on glow in the background, sprayed every room with air freshner so it smelt fresh everywhere.
When the viewers came they greeted by a warm, welcoming, homely house to view.
They loved it, came back for a second viewing the next day and bought it.
Good luck with your viewing - it only takes one viewer to fall in love with your home and you've sold it!Christians Against Poverty - www.capuk.org0
