By any chance does anyone on here know, if I get my PAC from Vodafone and transfer my number to a 3 PAYG sim, is there a minimum period I have to "serve" before I can get a PAC from 3 to transfer from them to somewhere else.??
I've raked about on their site and have found just about everything else other than this piece of info.
Cheers

I would have thought, networks are obliged to provide you with the PAC code upon the customer's request. You may just stay one day with the network and request the pac code from them, when it comes to the charges you need to ring Three I'm afraid.
I recently PAC'd my o2 code to 3 and 3 offered me a free £10 credit as well. even if they charge me for the generation of PAC code i dont think its more than £10. hope this helps.0 -

See I agree totally, this is what I think should be the case but I read in a couple of other posts to check what the minimum time is before you can PAC out again - hence the question.
Yeah, network preferences aside, for light users I think personally the 3 PAYG deal looks pretty decent at the moment - particularly the free add ons with each top up, my wife has had 3 for 2yrs now and have very little in the way of problems so I'm willing to give them a shot for few months since none of the Vodafone retentions are appealing.
Time to get PACing I guess. (groan)
