Mobile Number Port

Hi

Just out of interest, does anyone know if there's a regulation stating how long it should take to port a mobile number and if so what it is?

Cheers!

Dave

  • Cool - thanks! I knew it was something like that and all ofcom's site seems to mention is 2 days which I think is what they're trying to put through at the moment!

    Thanks!

2 working days for the physical port
to request a port, I think the rules changed recently so whenever you want a PAC (port authorisation code you should be given it within a number of days maybe (7 days I think, am happy to be corrected) but using the PAC may mean you owe the company any outstanding amounts if you are still in contract
