Martin I have noticed from the queries people place especially on Shop but don't Drop but also sadly from people being ripped off by buying from bogus websites, that people may be savvy savers, but many are not necessarily savvy online shoppers. People just do not know what to look for. could you do a campaign on this, how to know if a site is safe to buy from? all the checks you can do are natural for me but so many people are just not aware that you can check who owns a domain, what country a site is registered in and so on.
Hope you will give this some consideration.

Just pestering on this one again as a large chunk of the SBDD forum is taken up with 'Is x site safe...'
A worrying number of people just do not know what to look for in order to know whether a site is genuine or not.
Maybe something in the weekly email?

    Its really not something

    A. that fits what we do - we're less about scams and more about what to do
    B. Its a virtually impossible job businesses start and end the whole time - to resource checking each one (and what basis would you judge - how would you validate) it would need 1000s of people - one for the govt or a good forum to utilise crowdsourcing I think :)
