Yes he is holding out until he ends up on benefits, and therefore will be able to get away with missing out all the previous 8 months worth of payments.

He is currently suspended (on full pay I think) but the plea he has entered is going to make it worse for him ... stubborn man he is

So she needs to keep pestering them now and send any proof she can that shows he is just trying to get out of paying.

If he is found guilty and doesn't go to prison then he is unlikely to get sacked if his job does not involve social type work, if he does go to prison, he would be sacked on the grounds of not being available for work. If he does lose his job, how is that going to help the cause of the OP?

That all depends on your contract of employment and your staff handbook. In mine I can be sacked for any criminal offences that could make the company look bad at any time. So even being picked up for drunk and disorderly could get me a company warning, if they found out. I think employing someone that has been found guilty of ABH or even accused of it could make the company look bad especially if that information got leaked to rival companies. But it all depends on the contract he signs and we will not know what is in that.

It doesn't help the cause to the OP, that was my point. He is deliberately lying to the CSA so that he pays nothing until after the court case when he will know if he has a job or not and if he keeps his job etc he will come up with more excuses further down the line. If he ends up on JSA he'll pay the £5per week.

Why aren't they doing a DOE on him?! To get the full amount? Ask for a reassessment!

My case is almost over - he has paid the majority of arrears but still owes about 2k.
