ABH is a pretty nasty charge so he doesn't sound like a nice man so I can see potential for trouble if she starts to get CS...is it REALLY worth it?
I know £80 per month is alot when you are on IS but sometimes there are more important things in life - like your safety....just my thoughts.
I hope she gets everything sorted
*btw, another one has crawled out...ignore also*
She isn't on benefits though, she is concerned that without this money from him it will force her onto benefits because she is really struggling to live. He has a 50k job so its not small change she is worrying about .. and she has his employers details! He works for a massive company we all know about!
But I agree, for £20 a week I would let him go and swivel

Well then I clearly didn't read your post correctly...sorry about that:o
It's funny cos it often gets banded about on here that the csa 'only listen to the PWC' and this has shown it not to be true (not that any of the embittered NRP/NRPP's would admit to that;))
I hope she gets what she is entitled to but is also able to live a safe and peaceful life. Good on her for walking away:D0 -

I just don't understand why they are letting him get away with this.
The last woman she spoke to said, that he rings up every day banging on about his rights and is 'very nasty' - I told my friend she doesn't need their opinions of him, or her.. or anything else.. she just wants them to do their job. Nothing more, nothing less.. just their job.
However, this woman now said to my friend she will organise getting a DOE on him today
So they are acting on what my friend says now.. instead of him... why do they take what people say as gospel!
In the past it was said that if the was DV involved the CSA didn't like to deal as it can agitate an already bad situation, we only have to look at a few recent newspaper stories to see how some of these episodes end, and all for what? You can't put a monetary value on life

No - that was not said at all.
In the past (when benefits were easier to scam) - people didn't HAVE to contact the CSA to get further money from the NRP because it was deemed 'dangerous', and they would get an extra payment for their child from the government.
Of course, there were genuine people who needed this extra money and were too scared to contact for child support.. but some people did this so their partners (who they were never separated from in the first place) didnt have to pay anything.:cool:0 -
He is probably holding out because some employers would sack him if he is found guilty of ABH. I know mine would and we are a very big company.
He could also have to go to prison and then when he comes out he'll be on JSA and therefore will pay minimum. As others have said she needs to keep on at CSA.0 -

Yes he is holding out until he ends up on benefits, and therefore will be able to get away with missing out all the previous 8 months worth of payments.
He is currently suspended (on full pay I think) but the plea he has entered is going to make it worse for him ... stubborn man he is :cool:0 -

If he is found guilty and doesn't go to prison then he is unlikely to get sacked if his job does not involve social type work, if he does go to prison, he would be sacked on the grounds of not being available for work. If he does lose his job, how is that going to help the cause of the OP?0 -

The job isn't 'social work' - he is a salesman and a regional manager of a massive firm and he deals with the public also.
He is not the type to lounge around on benefits, however, I do believe he may quite possibly try to find cash in hand work... he will worm out of anything he can.:cool:0 -
Sadly my own experience is that the CSA believe every lie that the NRP chooses to spew out. I have sent recent evidence that he is not broke - he bought a 50 inch home cinema system (as seen by DD and his other daughter boasted about on FB on the day that they got it). Have reported this with evidence as he is due in court soon. He claims that he is not working (yet his FB says that he is at work), and can't get credit, and that money owed to him has not come. But he has managed to either obtain the credit, got the lump sum owed, or managed to afford to buy things which could never be classed as essential, but he can't afford to pay off his arrears?????? CSA woman doesn't buy it, but the courts do - I'm not sure how much info is challenged in court and I have requested that it is and will make a complaint if it isn't. You must complain - especially if you can provide contradictory evidence to his claims.0

I thought all your case was settled.. how has he managed to still worm out of it?!
It's maddening isn't it Kellogs
They have provided 4 variations at his request - that means he has messed with the payment schedules constantly all based on the lies he decides he wants to say on the day and the CSA swallow it all up. Seriously, I can't believe an agency as sensitive as the CSA would take anybodys word for it without proof!
Why on earth do they have those gigantic variation booklets for people to fill out... when you can just ring and say whatever you like and get things your own way!
Shocking!:cool:0
