Hi

Does anyone know whether Virgin pay monthly phones are locked to Virgin, or can any network (aside from 3) be inserted?

Thanks
Waddle you do eh?

  • If you bought it direct from Virgin then yes it will be. They charge £15 to unlock and you have to wait 7 - 30 days for the code to be sent to you (usually only nokias take 30 days), but you can get it done on the spot and cheaper at certain market stalls.
If you bought elsewhere like CPW or P4U I don't know if it'll be locked.

Some mobile phone shops show whether or not a handset is network-locked on the product page.
