do you want cheap as possible broadband? or willing to pay extra for better customer service.
General rule of thumb is the cheapest broadband isnt neccesarily the best!0 -
key words .. must be reliable0

What about requirements: Speed? Transfer limits? Maximum acceptable contract length?0
-
firewall: ZoneAlarm (free version from Zone Labs) - [google zone alarm]
antivirus: AVG Free - [google avg free]
nothing paid out yet - but both are top quality products...
broadband - found zazizam to be reliable for my needs... but as other posters say... depends what is being looked for0 -
He,s new to BB so hasnt a clue ,but is unlikeky to be downloading loads off stuff . maximum contract 12 months .masonic wrote:What about requirements: Speed? Transfer limits? Maximum acceptable contract length?0 -
Well he might want to look into freeola in the short term. They do an 8Mb service with a 3GB transfer limit for £9.99 with no connection fee (3 month contract). The price shoots up to £19.99 after 3 months though, so at that point it may make sense to migrate elsewhere. By that time he should have a much better idea of what kind of service he is likely to need.0
