Haha, I'm in Preston. If I'd bought the club I'd be off to the address where I posted the cheque to get my money back. :money:
  • Personnally i think the first thing you should do is speak to the person you bought the club from and explain the situation. They may not know the club is counterfeit and may have sold it in good faith ( yes i know they may be a complete conman ) their response to you should give you an indication of how helpful they will be.

If they refuse to help, speak to Calloway like you have been advised and if it comes to it you may be able to take them to small claims court which more experienced people on here will be able to give you details of, from reading other posts it looks quite easy on line.

Let us know how you get on.

    wilf55,

Sounds like this idea is your best option......."american golf have told me to take matter up with calloway and ask them for an authentic one in exchange for the details of where i bought it from ".
Have you contacted American golf?? if nothing else you can give them the details of this con man who's ripping people off......
.......although the second a seller told me they won't take Paypal or let me collect I'd avoid them like the plague.

Hope it works out for you...........if not you always have the option of sending round a 16 year old second hand mobile phone seller to see him........... ;-)

:rotfl: It was a joke. Btw they are a massive company, not as simple as a knock on the door.

They will soon have to sort me out with something.

Just a stab in the dark that I assume the seller knows he is selling fakes, seller is selling dodgy goods and doesn't take paypal...

You have no come back with a crossed PO unless you do an ebay claim which will cost you £15 and has an upper limit of £105. Other than that it has to be small claims court or such like.
