To be 100% safe you need to use Special Delivery. I use SD for 95% of my items but I do self insure a little on items around the £50 and send recorded. I saves me a fortune in the long run and I still haven't had anything go missing. I have had a few COPs go missing however.

On a slightly different note, don't forget to make a note of the voucher numbers, so if they do 'go missing' you can inform HMV and they may be able to stop them being used or something.
It's BOUGHT (to Buy), not BROUGHT (to bring) AND you cannot be frauded, only DEfrauded.

Please do not buy animals from a pet store. Visit your local sanctuary or centre and give a good home to an unloved or abandoned animal.

That's not a bad idea at all. After all we are (hopefully) all careful with mobiles so they can be blocked so any way of stopping or blocking anything that gets lost in the post is a great idea.

Hintza, as the 5p BIN offer requires buyers to use Paypal (immediate payment), would I be covered under Paypal if I use a trackable service i.e. recorded delivery? Would Paypal rule against me if the vouchers are lost in mail?

YvonneCrossland, if the buyer claims through Paypal and I have a tracking number to show Paypal, would they still take my money from the account?

I was under the impression that as long as I provide a tracking number to Paypal to prove that I've sent the item, I would be covered.

Like someone else said (sorry can't remember who) you will not be covered if they make a claim as you will have sent them via the wrong service. Paypal will refund them but you won't be able to claim back from Royal Mail.
