DH lost his job, are we entitled to claim anything?

i get £409 p/m i.b, £132 child benefit and £189 tax credits. Is there anything he can claim? Would it benefit us more if i come off i.b. and claimed something else??? I honestly dont have a clue about benefits. He has another 2weeks before they let him go and i cant get hold of citizens advice. He's talking about us…
