why do we always get 1
im asking for help not quotes like this

just because i smoke does not mean i dont value my teeth!

i dont want to go to the dentiast as picklepick says its too expensive and i do have a dentist phobia

Honestly going to the hygienist is Totally different from the dentist!! They are really chuffed to get a 'good' result!

As a non dentist or non hygienist, I can recommend hygientist, mine is a godsend! She is non judgementmental about why my teeth end up as stained as they are but makes them look amazing every time :D

    really?does it cost much?

I dont smoke, my teeth arent particluarly stained they're just sort of off-white! lol Well not as white as id like them to be! haha

I do drink a lot of tea and red wine though

How much do hygienist appointments cost on average?

Where do you live picklepick and are you registered with a dentist?

What matters most is how well you walk through the fire

There is a thread somewhere on MSE (really long one) about tooth whitening. I read it a while ago and it took me ages.
And no, when I have seen a hygienist for this, its not hurt at all!

    Why "apart from the dentist"?

Fair enough, if you smoke you can't really value you teeth very much, but why do you want to damage them even more especially for your wedding?

Face it, you guys can be expensive and this is MSE after all, she was asking if 'apart from a dentist' can she get the results, fair question.

Second point is pointless, every smoker 'knows' we shouldn't, I prefer my dentist who doesn't make value judgements about my lifestyle choices, as he knows I am a nurse struggling with a habit I shouldn't have!

Nope, costs me £35 every 6 months, proper bargain when you look at 'products' that claim the same result!

You will find that in a lot of NHS practices the hygiene services are private, ranging from about £30-50 for about 20-30 mins
