Swapping spare tyre to front

Hi I checked my tyre pressures the other day and the front passenger side wheel was very low (18 when the rest are 30) so I pumped it up but a few days later its gone down to 20 so it has a puncture. Anyway, does anyone know how much it will cost to have somewhere change my spare wheel over to the front? I have a national tyres and autocare near me but could try other places. Ideally it needs to be done ASAP.
The reason I don't want a new tyre yet is because I want to get it from the same place I got my set which isn't near me but going there at the weeked. Thanks.
Oh and my brother offered to do this for me but would it be too difficult job, he has no experiance, car is 14 yrs old.

No one should be allowed to drive if they cannot change a wheel. If your brother has offered let him do it.0

An easy job to do, I believe this task should be part of the driving test.
Just pump it up till the weekend or if the tyre is in good condition with plenty of tread get the local garage to fix the puncture or reseal the rim or maybe valve leaking.Google gives you answers use it.........0 -

I used to do recovery work and being called out at 2am to change someone's wheel really really made me angry........
Surely that kept you in a job? :rolleyes:0 -

What a silly thing to say. There are many disabled people who physically can't change a wheel but are capable of driving.
There is a total difference to not being able to change a wheel because of physical issues, but not knowing how to change a wheel is just outragous. Something as simple as wheel change should be taught at the beggining of driving lessons, what if the OP was out in the middle of no where and got a puncture.
It amaxes me people actually have to ask questions like and the other thread a few days ago "how do I clear ice from my windscreen" !!!!!!!!!Everyones opinion is the most important.....no wonder nothing is ever agreed on.0 -
I do know bow to change a wheel but my dad said the bolts could be rusty
so maybe I should let someone else do it.0 -
A little WD40 and some elbow grease. Remember "Lefty Loosie, Righty Tighty".
