Need a new Laptop <£350

I need a laptop new, refurbished or used - like new. I would appreciate if a few people could give me some suggestions. I'm willing to spend £350, however something lower would be amazing.

I expect Intel Core 2 Duo, 3 or 4GB RAM, HDD doesn't really matter much as long as it's decent, preferably a graphics card if possible. It has to be a laptop and not a notebook. I don't really like Acer, however I might make exceptions.

All suggestions are greatly appreciated ;).

Your not going to get something new for that price with those specs. You might a Dual Core with enough RAM but the graphics will be integrated. I think you'll have to look at used. Not sure refurbished fits your budget either.

Optimistic? Do you know anything about laptops and the prices? Don't come here posting absolute nonsense!

I could get this laptop refurbished for the specifications I want for £360 http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/TOSHIBA-L50011V-15-6IN-CORE-2-DUO-LAPTOP-REFURB_W0QQitemZ330377890958QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_Computing_Laptops_EH?hash=item4cec0e8c8e and I saw the very same laptop brand new on Gumtree for £280 http://manchester.gumtree.com/manchester/44/46700444.html

So before you actually post maybe you should have some knowledge on the topic. Optimistic, my !!!...

Not Core2Duo, but you are an optimist/dreamer. :)

Before you jump around like a monkey being cheeky, you should remember that you asked for a Graphics Card if possible.

Therefore the machine you have linked to does not meet that specification.

Well, if I can get that laptop for £280 I must be able to get a graphics card laptop for £70 more, right?

In addition, the machine in the Gumtree link was sold in October.

There should be an age barrier to posting on these forums. Surely you know what you're writing doesn't make sense.

One person selling their 'unwanted gift' for £280 back in October doesn't set the market price. WHAT ARE YOU THINKING?

This is sound advice, I totally agree.
If you want dedicated graphics you are looking at £500+

Don't be an impertinent little sh it.
You asked for advice and people kindly spent their time offering it.
If you know everything already, why ask for peoples advice ?

Put your handbags down and get back on topic please :D I'm one to talk lol

But seriously , What is your plan for this laptop? What would you be using it for. Reason I ask is Dedicated Graphics are better than integrated but unless you fork out the cash you still won't be able to play the mid to high graphic games on a low end dedicated.

My reply in #3 is equally appropriate for that statement.
