Alternative to itouch? ie an MP3 player with wifi.

Are there any alternatives to an Apple itouch? ie an MP3 player that also has wifi so you can browse the internet?

Not a mobile phone with wifi, thanks.

Sorry if this is a silly question.

Thanks for the help.

I think the Zen X-Fi only has wi-fi for music streaming over a network. Which gives it one up on the touch...but no internet capabilities.

Not much. I've been looking at it seriously again since they brought out the 64GB which would just about do, but still the lack of memory expansion capability puts me off. Although the higher resolution screens on some newer products (Nexus One for example) are starting to tempt too.

The touch has a poor low-res screen by today's standards, plus it's locked-down crippled proprietary etc..

My daughter got an Ipod Touch for Christmas and I must say I'm impressed with it. I don't really see how it's crippled either. Yes, it's proprietary but so what if it does what you want.

the Zune is not bad but is not sold in the UK so if you get one it will have to be a grey import.

I must admit that I'm seriously tempted to get a Nexus One in a couple of months when it's released over here. It looks excellent.
