b1g1an... I'd carry on the argument but it would be like trying to explain particle physics to a frog. Forget it - go back to wherever your planet is, I'm sure the sky is a nicer colour there...
...are you sure you don't work in HE....people there are angry and frustrated (in their case as a result of believing they should be paid more - which they could do if only they were capable of working in the real world).
..what's your excuse - incomplete potty training as a child?
c'mon - give it up, smile, walk away...have a pleasant Saturday night...0 -
..........and back to the original point of this post folks........................

Just bought a 12` from B & Q today for £109.88 and they also had 8` ones for around about £63

Thanks for the post - bought mine last week thanks to this.
Just to add to the debate ! lol
The enclosure to me is not so much there to protect my children from harm but more as a deterrent. Knowing there is a barrier there they have tended to avoid it all week and nicely bounce in the middle - I figured that without they would be more inclined to bounce nearer the end or perhaps straight onto the ground when finished (I know I did when I was a child - and twisted my ankle more than once!!).
You can never protect your children 100% and a responsible adult will take all necessary precautions. To me the comment about an enclosure causing more injuries is just plain daft - I can only see that if children and adults were under the illusion that an enclosure is some fool proof safety net.0 -
Well said Cuffy.
The enclosure also works as a deterrent, at least for young kids, by keeping them off it when you aren't there to keep an eye on them, little fingers can't undo the catches.
What might make an interesting debate is the different kinds of enclosures available, I have the Aldi one which wraps around the edge, attaching underneath to the mat and effectively seals it, some I've seen just surround the trampoline and would potentially allow legs (bodies?) etc to go down the side and others, that I've only seen pictures of, where the enclosure sits around the outer edge of the mat with the springs outside it.
Oh, and thanks to carled for trying to have the last word but just making himself look even sillier0
