Your entitled to credits. Not exactly nothing.

Whoever told you you can claim JSA(IB) for yourself was stupid to say so.

We're currently trying to apply for a break in council tax but unfortunately we're renting out property from a friend of the family. Because of that it wasn't considered to be on the 'open market' and thus we're ineligible for help with rent.

Please clarify, are you renting out a property or renting a property? if you are renting from a friend and they formalise the arrangement you can then claim help.

I am unsure what you mean by applying for a break, a break from what?

    Please explain.

    Please refer to post #7.

Not easy to follow, I have asked for clarification.

It is a bit unfair to moan about something and then not allow someone to respond to you!
  • I previously asked the member to stop replying because she had nothing constructive to add and was being sarcastic instead. The fact that I found these comments to be unhelpful and asked nicely for her to stop doesn't mean I am in any way trying to control the situation, I am only trying to adhere to the rules.

Naturally I don't behave negatively in the job centre, I have the ability to modulate my reactions based on their context. Excuse me if I am not entirely accommodating towards people who react to a personally stressful situation with ignorant comments.

Yes I have read the thread but my point above is still valid.
  • I don't think so? The member's comments were under informed and unhelpful. She made a comment, I replied, she replied with sarcasm again and at that point I asked her to stop responding to my thread. The alternative would be a long, drawn out back and forth discussion that solves nothing the likes of which I am having with you now, which doesn't answer my initial concerns and helps nothing. I wanted to avoid that.

I do not agree and as you do not like discussion it probably best that we stop this now!

    OP:-

    1. How much does your partner earn?

    2. Have you actually applied for HB/LHA and been turned down - or have you just been "told" you won't get it?

    3. Stop making trolling style comments and you'll receive help from people.
