Parcel been nabbed?!

Hi all, yeah I don't know what the courier was thinking. Why not leave me a card to say no one was in and then I could have arranged for it to be redelivered??
The seller has replied and agrees that the courier has mucked up so they are going to contact the courier company and then let me know what's happening, so I will give it a few days and chase the seller again.0 -
The seller has contacted me and said that the courier company will be interviewing the driver but that he is off sick at the moment, so looks like this might be a bit long and drawn out. The seller said he would let me know what's happening.
Is the best thing to contact the seller sometime next week and see whether there is an update? I don't want to harrass him but at the same time I want to sort this out! :rolleyes:0 -

From what you said it sounds unlikely the item is going to be found and even if it is, it won't be quickly.
Personally I would now just ask the seller for a refund and let them sort out the problem. At the end of the day, it's their issue not yours and you've been very accomodating.
If it was me selling, I would have offered a full refund (or replacement if I had one).
Incidentally, if we are talking about poor couriers, I can heartily vote for City Link (or Sh*ty Link as they are known in our office).0 -

The problem here is that seller has all they need to prevent a paypal chargeback so they might be unwilling to be out of pocket , this is a very difficult one.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. That's why I said ask for a refund and not start a dispute.
The problem is the sellers to resolve, not the customers and it seems there is no argument from any side that the parcel has not been delivered to the correct address.0
