Oil in tank of new home

Anyone who has oil heating knows the size of their tank, otherwise how do they know how much to reorder when it is running low. (Minimum delivery is often 500litres)
You should pay them for what they are leaving you, round it down to the nearest 1/4 tank capacity (1/8th or 1/16th if you feel generous) in case they use a bit before you actually move it - if you want0 -
