Spelling and Grammar

If teachers are so good and worth their pay, why can nobody spell nowadays and why is English grammar taught so badly? It is a fundamental right as an English person to be taught there own language surely?

    AND the sentence makes sense- not saying I am an English professor- just saying the grammar and spelling on here is sometimes atrocious

    I don't think that you understand what an abbreviation is. I would also use a spellcheck in future. ;)
