I want to book a single ticket from spain to manchester. The price in pounds if i book outbound ticket from manchester first the price is £24.99 yet if i only choose the just the flight from spain it is quoted in euros
€29.99. Is there a way to not get charged at this higher rate. Easy jet let you take the flight off after but i cant seem to find how to do this with jet2
thanks

Firstly, (if I read that right) they aren't the same flight. Different legs of the flight have different prices. (Ie, MAN to Span could cost more/less than Spain-MAN)
I believe that you can select your preferred currency on the Jet2 website - they only make an assumption that if you are originating from Spain, your preferred currency will be. I think there is a button in the top right hand corner although I could be wrong.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. if i book an outbound flight from manchester to alicante and then choose a return flight then all the prices are in sterling. However there is a better flight with easy jet outbound times and price so i only wanted the return alicante to manchester part with jet 2. Jet 2 wont let me add and then remove the outbound part like easy jet. The same flight with jet 2 from alicante to manchester is either £24.99 (if i have selected an outbound flight first) or €29.99 if i am booking a single from alicante.
Knowing the rate of exchange this seems like an overcharge.
at least i am using an electron card so they cant rip me off for that part0 -

Being a UK based company, they will presumably have to convert the € to Sterling and will pass that conversion charge (approx £2.80 based on a rate of 1.1159) on to you. I've done a similar thing from Barcelona to Leeds and was under the impression that you could change your "preferred currency" somewhere on the site. I may have been mistaken though.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -
Why is it a RIP OFF SCAM if a company chooses to have higher prices in Euro than in Pounds?
Polish businesses will often charge a premium to use Euro over Zloty - normal, accepted business practice. For instance, cheap cigarettes on the Polish border - you'll pay about 2-3 Euro more per 200 if you buy them in Euro as opposed to Zloty. From Poland...with love.

What easyJet do has nothing to do with what other airlines offer.
You will pay in pounds regardless, as your card issuer will charge you in pounds.
If you don't like it - don't fly with jet2!From Poland...with love.

I know i will pay i pounds it just costs more for the same flight. I just wanted to know if i could add a flight and then take it off to keep the prices the same. Obviously i cant do this with jet2 fine no problem. I was only asking a simple question which is obviously too much to ask, dont be nasty0
