Have you set up a CPA on your Switch card?

CPA doesnt officially exist on Switch cards though some companies do "do it" (according to our merchant services expert anyway) - if you want to set up a payment plan using a bank account they are supposed to do a DD rather than a CPA off the card.

Call your credit card company and find out why and how they did it! Are you sure it has been paid to your credit card too - it could be someone committing a fraud using copied debit card details. Get onto your credit card company and find out what is going on!

chances are you will have to contact whoever took the payment.

only then if you still have problems should your bank intervene

I am confused. You say your credit card company took money out of your bank account using your switch card?

Is the credit card and bank account with the same provider or are they different and was there already an outstanding/overdue balance on the card?

If the 2 accounts are from the same provider I have seen it mentioned here before that they sometimes take payment out of the current account to pay off the debt on the card.

Has the 120 for this month already been processed? Could it be that the person you spoke to missheard you and only took out 20 instead?

In that case, when you phone them up tomorrow I would phone them up and explain the situation. They will probably refund the payment or you will only have to pay 100 to them instead so that it balances out.

They should still be able to explain the unauthorised transaction though.
