Julie i have not made a claim yet and most likely cant until they finished there investigation into who the item actually went to.

The post Office took my phone number and they said they will have a word with my sorting office to enquiry with the person who delivered the item ...so far have not rung back but i think they are just waiting for the signature to appear because i was informed digital signatures get sent to staffordshire to be scanned or something to that effect.

Thank you for everyone replies though

Bleugh , this is what it says when i enter the Reference number :

Your item with reference ZHXXXXXXXXXB was delivered from our XXXXX Delivery Office on 27/06/06 .

The electronic Proof of Delivery is currently unavailable for this item. Please allow up to 72 hours after delivery before trying again

    (end Quote)

does not give any sort of address just that it was delivered from my local sorting office , i to thought it had to give some sort of address.

I paid extra for special delivery to ensure i would get this item as i didnt want it left on my door step and someone takes it etc but then this happens i must be jinxed :/

Well hopefully as Fay says someone could still call me about the package they my have had by mistake.

First thing to do is go to the sorting office. They night be able to help; much better that going through the head office. Might be able to track the postie down and he might be able to help sort te problem out.
