Clubcard Vouchers for Youth Hostels?

Just planning a couple of nights away for next w/e. Have been exploring the possibility of staying in a youth hostel - 2 ad. and 2 DDs age 10 & 7. I note on the YHA webite it states that clubcard vouchers can be used to eirther pay for membership, or for accomodation. Has anyone done this, or know how to go about it. Doe you get the 'face value' of the vouchers against accomodation, or are they worth more in deals (like alton towers tickets etc?).
Can't seem to find any info from tescos.
Thanks in advance!

Youth Hostel Association in Clubcard Deals - Tesco.com
£1=£4 in deal tokens
Funny thing... I was just looking at this tonight!
Also, it seems if you purchase a Scottish YHA membership, for £8 per person, you get the same member discount as an England/Wales membership, but that one will set you back £22! So get your membership on-line from Scotland and save in England!0 -

That's brilliant news, was hoping to use some hostels in September. Hopefully by then it could be totally paid for with vouchers.0
