Tesco own brand nappies

I bought some tesco own brand nappies in a size 4 for my little man, they appear to fit properly but are definatly no use for nighttime use, every morning my son has wolke up with his vest and pj's wet!
Plus he has nappy rash for the first time!
Wouldn't reccommend maybe a little cheaper than leading brands but not worth the saving!

I used to use Tesco own on holiday and at night sometimes (DS was a real nappy boy 95% of the time)- also used Pampers, and although the Tesco were a bit bulkier I found them comparable to Pampers.
I think it depends on the baby, and it is a commonly known fact that just because a style of nappy does not suit your child, does not make them poor quality or a general thumbs down.Ermutigung wirkt immer besser als Verurteilung.

Our son wore the tesco nappies when he was younger without problems, huggies on the other hand they leaked like a sieve.Everyones opinion is the most important.....no wonder nothing is ever agreed on.0

We use the Tesco Active Fit nappies and have always found them very good, even at night. Can't comment on the normal ones though.
We've been Foster carers for the last 3 years, all with nappy wearing babies/tots, so we've gone through a fair amount.Dave. :wave:0 -
I use these nappys for my son and I think they are far better than Pampers/Huggys which always seem to leak, and quite a difference in price too!0

I used to buy size 6 Tesco nappies, until they decided to shrink the size, or at least it seemed that way to me, one day they fit perfectly, next day new pack seemed like a size 4, waste of my money,Content makes poor men rich; discontentment makes rich men poor. Benjamin Franklin0

Yup another tescos fan here
My sil sweared by pampers and a friend always used huggies, it all depends on your baby and unfortunatly a lot of trial and error!

Tesco, Pampers, and Lidl nappies we've never had trouble with. Huggies on the other hand.. dd ended up red raw when they were used on her. Still wouldn't say they were a bad nappy though- just we didn't get along with them.0

I love Tesco nappies. My DD drinks a lot of water and milk and we have never had them leak, they actually seem to hold quite a lot of liquid. I hated Huggies, they gave her nappy rash and \pampers leaked with us. I think it really does depend on the child.Married the most amazing man 05/12/09 and it was the best day ever, I'm a Mrs, he he!!:jWins 2009: Peroni Alessi bowl woohoo, 1 in 10 wins DVD from Maltesers, Avon lippy!!!Freebies-Bold Gel, CoffeePinecone Research - £9Mystery Shopping - £150
