Another Tesco fan here, although the ones in the turquoise packet fit much better than the Active ones in the purple packets! Have also used Huggies without and problems, but we didn't get on with Pampers and the Sainsbury's ones were awful. They leaked badly and she got nappy rash.

I think it's just trial and error depending on your baby's size and shape and how much they wee.
Here I go again on my own....

Aldi and Lidl nappies were great with our son -never used Tescos but Huggies were awful. HTH:A

  • Sorry guys didnt mean to offend just the fifth morning getting up to a soaked baby...obviously don't get on with my little one
  • Have to say I love Tesco nappies since discovering them. We had problems with Pampers leaking and went onto Huggies. When T had sold out of Huggies one time we picked up the own brand to give them I try. I find them equally as good as Huggies.

I think it just depends on the shape of your baby to which nappies suit best.

i always use tescos (mainly b/c of cost) and havent had any problems

last week though i got some pampers and they were the worst nappies id ever got, you had to rip them apart when you unfolded them it was really frustrating.

i also used huggies ONCE when i had my first and even the midwife said how crap they were (her exact words - how bought these crap nappies?)

I read good things about the Tesco nappies and decided to give them a try on my DD. Unfortunately, we didn't get on very well with them - to me, they felt really rough (not soft at all) and she was really uncomfotable in them. But the worse is that they gave her the most awful nappy rash I have ever seen, they were so bad the skin on her privates started to peel. It still makes me queasy and upset just remembering what they did to her. This was obviously just my experience but for that reason, I will never use them again or recommend them.

I would wholeheartedly recommend the Lidl nappies though (Tujour, I think they're called?) They were absolutely brilliant and much better in my opinion than pampers or Huggies. Even her nursery commented how good they were. My daughter never leaked once, no terrible rashes and they held up very well at night.

We're thankfully out of nappies now but will definately use them again on baby no.2 (whenever he/she decides they want to join the family :D)
  • If you have got the packet still, call pampers and complain I did this with huggies and got £15 nappy vouchers:money:

I think it all depends on the shape of the baby's bum! Huggies leaked everywhere on my girls, but Tesco's and Pamper's pull ups worked a treat.

We stopped using the Tesco ones as we found the paper they were made of at the back a bit rougher and it aggravated the girls eczema.. now we bulk buy when pampers have a special offer - which is most of the time!:D
  • Havnt tried Tesco but has anyone used Wilkinsons really cheap brand ones?
They around £2 for 20 nappies.
For daytime they have been great and are roomy. They are plasticy feel on the outside but she's done fine with them.

I just thought I would try them (as you do) and was pleasantly surprised.

As for leaking I always founf Pampers and Huggies to be the woprst for this, and I use Asdas own for nights mostly.
