Hi all
we live in the peak district where we are not expected t switch over to digital until 2011....
so we can only receive bbc 1 and 2 and itv 3 and channel 4 ....
we don't watch much Tv -- i watch holby but for the last few months have watched on iplayer....
do you think we could cancel our licence fee and argue with them that we don't watch TV......
for the last few months all our TV watching has been done via computer..

If you only watch on iPlayer (and not its live feed) then you do not need a licence.0

For live TV you need a licence, period, whether on TV or on PC.
And you do not get a discount because you can only receive the analogue channels. No free lunch, and no free laptop0
