Frug it...there's loads of un-flying-related chat going on here so I might as well post an all.

    Flying done so far....

    fire made and lit

    fireplace swept

    cat fed

In late from work as on training. I've got some 'homework'.

Plus I need to declutter 4 weeks plus of leave over the next month or so.....

Done some shopping, most at lovely reduced prices, from the lovely Waitrose.:D

Must Must Must cancel insurance and send tax disc off for the car that is knackered.

DS says if I am going to 'get down and dirty' (my words not his) we have to book into a hotel because he doesn't want to listen to him going

    oooo arrrr

who does he think I have pulled? A farmer?:rotfl:

My outfit has been discussed with colleague/friend. Skirt/jumper in flattering colours for your favourite redhead (He seemed impressed by that) - I have seen a picture, he hasn't but no doubt he will be entranced by my incredibly long legs :rotfl: as AnWsMum can vouch for! We are going to the pub quiz because (a) he will be able to find it (he'll be travelling down a certain by-pass mummyof5) and (b) I thought (as the 'ball' was batted into my corner as it were), that a noisy bar would be no good (too loud) and obviously we need to chat BUT the pub quiz would help fill up any awkward gaps in conversation and perhaps give us some starting points if I (or he) get lost for words! I have BANNED my mother from the pub quiz ;).

I has a blind (ish) date! Let's hope he is... :p:p:p:p
I am absolutely bricking it as I have not had a date for 20 years...but my friend says he's nice... If he is that nice why has he got to that age not been snapped up??

    I keep grinning though...

HEEHEEHEE... You know I'm kidding.. have a fabulous time.. My MIL met her hubby on a blind date (she was the blind one he looks like one of the Gorgs from Fraggle Rock.. 'Gee Ma I caught a Fraggle!'.. and shares the intellect of one)

You'll be fine.. Best get through that list though.. don't want him to think you are anythingother than a domestic goddess.. ;)

Pigpen - I would just like to say thank you for making us do a menu plan for the month at New Year - normally I spend about £100 per week at mr S. Well last week I spent about £50 & just slightly less this week. :D

Hope this doesn't affect their share price:rotfl:

I just knew we'd be mostly destitute this month so every penny saved will make a big difference.

She rang me 5ish and stuck in traffic coming out of Cardiff - spoke to her about 20 mins ago and she was stressing as bumper to bumper on M4 icon9.gif Am frightened to ring her in case it distracts from her driving and am really worried now. Dont know what the roads are like up there but it is sticking big time here at the moment and we always get off lightly

Sorry about the off topic post :o
Poppy I am sure she will be fine, as Jo said, if they are bumper to bumper then it will just take her longer than normal......calm down woman:naughty::naughty::kisses3:

Flying....I have cleared the table and dinner dishes into the DW and S&S the kitchen again.....but since I cooked tonight, there was little mess:A

hello, still kinda new to me the fly thing, but do you have to ask for a star when you complete a day's list?

If yes, then I completed my Monday's things, I think.
one and half hours ironing done, and put away today.

got a message from dd's school, she can finally go back, one week late!!!!

Flying related as asking for advice...

    Anyone any suggestions please...

I have a load of boxes, bubble wrap, brown paper, etc for ebay stuff. Trouble is its really, really cluttering up the dining room, really cluttering it up.:o

Does anyone have any suggestions where I could stash it.

All cupboards are full, its the boxes that take up the most room but I require them for ebay items. On top of wardrobes are full also with more boxes. If I put it in the loft it's a big problem to go and get it.

If I put it in the shed, they'll go damp...I'm stuck.
