Binbag dance - same as a Fling Boogie, grab a bag and fling fling fling

Thanks - good thing I know what a Fling Boogie is then ;)

I was signed up to the Flylady emails for years, but never seemed to get anywhere. Temptation was too great to just delete - didnt seem to matter somehow. I think this thread is going to be sooooo much better - it's interactive, people are 'watching' you and there is so much encouragement. I love it already and Im actually looking forward to my second week

A huge thank you for Pigpen for setting the thread up daily and wach week starting a new one for us to commit to and help us get a sparkly house again in order.

Another huge thank you for Toots and Soappie for the full time job of awarding stars - I entirely appreciate how much work this is for you both. I find it hard to keep up with the thread with working full time

Presents on offer are a huge bunch of flowers, a massive box of chocolates, cake or ice cream and a bottle of wine, sparkly wine or vodka for the thread runners - pick whatever you fancy for you three! :D

Monday - Living room, hall and stairs
    Level one
[STRIKE]Clear floors of clutter [/STRIKE]and vacuum them

Looks like an achievable list for after work for a change on a Monday! I thought it would be the kitchen and wiped down the hob and oven in anticipation alongside the worksurfaces and a tidy up!

Re editing our lists is that not making your job harder Toots? I mean you would have to go through the thread more than once to see who had updated? Not sure but could someone let me know I may just be being thick but I don't want to give Toots anymore work as the thread is huge at the moment/or people saying they haven't got their stars. As I said I may just be being ATAS.

Monday - Living room, hall and stairs
    Level one
Clear floors of clutter and vacuum them
Make time for yourself!! Half an hour of peace!/hobbies/SOAADFA now that last one I'm really very good at :p:p
    Level Two
    Wipe sofas
Vacuum under furniture you can safely move.. I don't want any hurt bodies!
[STRIKE] Sort coats and shoes and bags[/STRIKE] walking boots currently drying in front of the fire...
    Level Three
Sort out emergency box.. in case of power failures etc.. candles, matches/lighter/torch/batteries and emergency numbers.. plumber I should be so lucky... guess I'd better get my homecare policy sorted, gas, electric, water etc Also put together emergency kit for car in case I need to go out - I took it out to use last week
Organise a bookshelf! ... bother... wasn't expecting this quite so soon!
    [STRIKE] Check smoke alarms[/STRIKE]
    Extras
    1. Wipe tops of downstairs door frames
    2. [STRIKE]Wash any soft furnishing that need it[/STRIKE] none to do
    3. polish and dust all the electricals!
    4. Binbag dance.. I'm pretty sure I have nothing left to get rid of, but I'll check!
    My extras:

    2 x CV reviews
    Software guidelines for Freegle
    Thank you letters
Finish shopping spree... (waterproof gloves, thermal gloves, thick socks, long thermal vests, lightweight walking boots, wellies, bulk washing up liquid, laundry liquid vinegar)
    Mealplan
    SIL re pancake day
Renew passport before I get sent abroad again and find out it's run out...
    Sew button on cardigan
Find button for linen trousers and sew it on...

... and if it defrosts enough...
tetrapaks & bottles to recycling site
    charity shop stuff to L
buy green veg & salad stuff
    more exercise!

Working tomorrow... plan is to start early and get my prep/calls done by lunchtime. If the roads are OK and weather looks like it will hold I'll go to the gym straight after my last call and will tack some shopping on to that while I'm at it. I've got a bit of ironing in the basket, and a very messy desk - which if I deal with it how, could get me my last star from last week :p

Obviously the snow did have ONE good result - a record amount of flying as there wasn't much else we could do instead!

And also I don't think I will be racking up very many stars as I am only 13 so I don't do much of the cleaning :P x

Unless the school is closed again tomorrow, which I doubt, as we don't seem to have had these forecast blizzards still, I will be back to work, so I probably won't be about much during the week. Will probably pop in to check PMs about the meet but won't be posting, as I doubt I'll get any flying done until next weekend (the Head and Deputy have had a few days to cook up extra forms and paperwork for us to do, with the school being closed).

Night night all, and Happy Birthday to rach for tomorrow and hollyh for Tuesday, and of course to anyone else who hasn't owned up to having one this week yet. ;)

    Hugs,

    sexymouse xx

PS serena did you get my text message?

Hi Ballerinacaz welcome to the thread you can help your mom by keeping your room nice and tidy but best tell her what you are up to so she doesn't worry.

  • Feel very proud of my 3 out of 5 last week - my daughters were off school due to the snow so my plans were thrown out. Gonna try for 5 out of 5. Going back to work tomorrow - work from home running a caravan park - so need to get my routine sorted.

Just relaxing with a bottle of wine in front of the television and then i'll make a start!
