    Wooop thanks ladies, I am in. Even if Pigpen is mean, she must have seen I wanted it to be the kitchen :p

    Pigpen's LR/Hall/Stairs list .....thank you for the extras, I need those!
    Measure landing for where picture frames need to go
    Check schools - see if they are open and if transport is on, take boys if it's on
    Check neighbours before we leave, phone DPs Nana/Gran to make sure they are ok, so can collect essentials while we are out
    Contact Dunelm re delivery date
    Look online for tie backs
    Clean mould off upstairs windows
    Pigpen's kitchen list (if it's not the kitchen I will do last weeks)
    Collect prescriptions
    Laundry - probably 3-4 loads
    Snow clearing
    Clean animals out
    Sort through one of those plastic crates
    Finish trawling through financial mess
    One day I might be more organised...........:confused:

    Monday - Living room, hall and stairs
    Extras
    Wipe tops of downstairs door frames
    Wash any soft furnishing that need it
    polish and dust all the electricals!
    Binbag dance.


    Tuesday ~ Kitchen, Utility and Dining Area
    Extras
    Medical box - restock and inventory. I'm sure a lot of us will have run out of the vitals the last few months!

    Wednesday ~ Study and Bathroom/loo
    Extras ~ just 3 today as they are time consuming
    Gather insurance documents/guarantees/important papers together in one accessible file
    Change any dead lightbulbs and defluff any old ones.. if you can change some old ones for eco-bulbs.. save a few pence where we can
    Passports are being processed really quickly at the moment (stepdads took 3 days!) if yours needs renewing for a holiday this year get it done now to save that last minute panic!

    Thursday ~ Master Bedroom and Landing
    Extras
    Sock pairing session.. you have to pair up at least 20 odd socks!
    Clean vacuum innards, pipes and filters.. do not use again until it is all dry!
    Wash some stinky trainers!! .. We all have some!
    Mend 1 item you have been putting off for weeks!

    My list then:

    Mon
    day - Living room, hall and stairs
    Level one
    [STRIKE]Clear floors of clutter and vacuum them
    Make time for yourself!! Half an hour of peace!/hobbies/SOAADFA[/STRIKE][STRIKE][/STRIKE]
    Level Two
    [STRIKE]Wipe sofas[/STRIKE] - got fabric ones so turned all cushions and plumped up instead
    [STRIKE]Vacuum under furniture you can safely move.. I don't want any hurt bodies![/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]Sort coats and shoes and bags[/STRIKE]
    Level Three
    Sort out emergency box.. in case of power failures etc.. candles, matches/lighter/torch/batteries and emergency numbers.. plumber, gas, electric, water etc
    Organise a bookshelf!
    Check smoke alarms
    Extras

    Extra for week - order Clubcard vouchers to book holiday with before it's too late!!! (Planning to go to Las Vegas in April and have been meaning to get around to booking fo rmonths! :j:j:j)

  • Well - since I can no longer see the carpet in any part of my house :o I think I'd better ask you lovley ladies for some help. Please may I join in?

    I'll start small and aim for level ones but having said that all of tomorrows tasks look acheivable so I can only try.
