Had my WI on sat and have lost about ¼ of a lb – im not surprised I didn’t lose much though as it was the bank holiday!!
Am going to be good this week and try and shift some weight as that’s the 3rd week that the scales have barely moved and I still have 1st 13lbs to get to my ideal weight (10 ½ stone)
I have found some nice treats though Tesco’s lighter choice chocolate and orange cereal bar is 1.5points so I have these stashed in my drawer at work along with the WW crisps!0 -
WI result lost -3lbs woohoo! was surprised as I thought I was going to STS due to TOTM etc So am mega ecstatic
Am now considering buying a set of scales for home, but want one with Body fat % as well as my partner is muscly and doesnt conform to BMI ranges lol. Any suggestions?
Also just found out how to calculate points from a previous post here - OH was curious and turns out he is allowed 35 points to lose weight and he's only got 2 stone to lose (hurumph) I have to lose another 6stone 3lbs and am on 30 points which I know is a lot but still seems a bit bizarre.
Oh and respect most high to those on less than 20 points, I so couldnt manage on that as am a lettuce hater lolDS1 arrived 22/02/11! 8lb3oz

OMG , been on WW online now 2 weeks tomorrow, ( first week lost 2.5 lb)so weigh in tomorrow, pretty confident as been sooo good, but TOTM on Thurs so will be starting to bloat and crave food.
Hubby following it too, he had huge weight loss first week , changed over scales , thought it was that, but medical at doctors to renew his HGV license also showed he was a lot lighter. Just seen the link on here to work out points allowance, as it is me on the online I didn't work out for him and did not know how to , thought we would be sort of the same, but I always allow him 1 or 2 points more. Poor poor man , how wrong was I , he will be having another good weight loss this week I think , without knowing I have been starving the poor man!!! :eek:He is in fact allowed between 31 and 33 points ( as some days he does more physical work) and I have been giving him 23 the same as me . LOL :rotfl:0 -

I tried the Chicken and Vegtable curry recipe last week from 'The Time to Eat Cookbook' that I got from Weightwatchers last time round (bout 7 years since:D), it was really nice and made loads - said it served 4 but I would say it serves more than thatWeight Loss - 102lb0

Well I had a TOTAL fail lastnight. Was feeling so down and fed up about being on a diet, and in turn totally ruined my diet by eating half a tub of Haagen-Dazs 'Strawberry Cheesecake' ice cream whilst watching Desperate Housewives
I get really down sometimes as my GF can eat whatever the heck she wants, and I find it difficult when I've got 0 points left at night & have a rumbly tummy but can't have anything, and she's tucking into a whole box of cadbury chocolate fingers and a frijj milkshake
I get down a fair bit because I can't eat chocolate due to allergies - so my health gets me down a hell of a lot.
However, this said, I had a bit of a break through today. I have a job interview on Wednesday and I needed some clothes to attend in, so I went to Dorothy Perkins to try some smart stuff on - and came away with a size 12 shirt, and a size 14 pair of trousers. I haven't fit into these sizes for about 9 years :j:heartsmil Proud Weight Watcher :heartsmilStart Weight: 15st 13lb Current Weight: 10st 5lbTotal Loss to Date: 5st 8lb- - -Current 2011 Goal: Lose 8lb by 25th DecemberLoss This Week: -3 Total Loss 2011: -30 -
Trying to find a code for Weight Watchers magazine subscription, cheapest I can find is in this months magazine which is 11 issues for £22, usually £27.50. Found a code for £10 off but it had expired, anybody know of a cheaper offer? Also can anybody give me the instructions for the Points calculator , I was given one but haven't a clue how to use it as no instructions with it, I just use the cardboard one I was also given while I am out and about.0

I did have a coupon with my monthly pass for £7.50 off a subscription but think I must have given it over at meeting for someone else to use as I cant find it:D probably get another one in a few weeks unless you find one before then cos I dont use it, I just buy the magazine as and when I feel like it
What did you want to know about the calculator, have just looked in my box of weightwatchers sheets and stuff have bought etc and cant find any instructions, only the box - maybe you would get more info through google unless there much you are after I may be able to help:DWeight Loss - 102lb0 -
How is everyone's weeks going in weight watcher terms?
I'm really hoping for a loss this week, I need to shift just 1lb to hit my New Years Resolution target, but it seems more difficult than I imagined - GRRR! Fingers crossed this week could be it!:heartsmil Proud Weight Watcher :heartsmilStart Weight: 15st 13lb Current Weight: 10st 5lbTotal Loss to Date: 5st 8lb- - -Current 2011 Goal: Lose 8lb by 25th DecemberLoss This Week: -3 Total Loss 2011: -30 -
Hi YWG - Good luck with that last pound!
Have been really motivated this week, organising work lunches in advance and saying no to cake... but have also been suffering with a dodgy tummy which is making me feel a bit drained. So tonight am taking the easy option and having oven pizza for dinner which wil put me over points unless i can limit my portion size (unlikely!). Feel like i need to recover some energy after being poorly so am going to listen to my body. Hope it doesn't scupper my chances at WI on Saturday though!fran-o0
