Looking to book one of the 4 Weymouth sites for Easter.
    2 Adults, 3 children, 8 and 6 years and 6 months.

Anyone have idea's on which one to go for ?

    Thanks

We usually go to Weymouth Bay haven, Seaview is on a hill, so less ideal
  • Does anybody know how often these Daily Mail holidays run? I was aware that they did the ones in parks abroad, and had actually stated collecting for those ones, when i realized we could'nt spare the time, and would only go on a uk break for three nights a la the Sun Holidays.
I found out on this website about the UK Daily Mail breaks.
Is it like the Sun Holidays 3-4 times a year?
Really pleased with my three night break to park in Sommerset with the Mail , and am just about to send off my Sun tokens , and have a stab at getting another break for later on in the year.
    Thanks for any information.

I have booked a holiday 4 night at Craig Tara in Ayr for April. Can anyone tell me where do I have to pay the service charge. I have had confirmation of booking but states nothing of additional payment. Do I get billed directley from Holiday site?

    Many Thanks
  • Hi, yes you will get either a letter or email from the site but may take a few weeks

We booked a 4 night break at Craig Tara in April also. :j

You'll receive a letter in a couple of weeks time, with details of the extra charges, the service charge is compulsory, the entertainment passes optional. You can either send payment by cheque or call in and pay by card.
It's PAC not PAC Code, it's MAC not MAC Code, it's PIN not PIN Number, it's ATM not ATM Machine, it's LCD not LCD Display, it's DVD not DVD disc... It's no one not noone, It's a lot not alot, It's got not gotten... Panini is the plural of panino - there is no S!!

Many thanks for all your replies . Will look out for the letter.

Also do you need the entertainment passes to use the swimming etc? Is it necessary to have these. We have never been before to Craig Tara.

    Thanks
  • I love this website - have just booked for October holidays to Haggerston Castle with Daily Mail after failing to get anywhere with the Sun tokens! Thanks! x
  • Got my confirmation letter yesterday. It's a bit pricey, with the added extras, so just watch out. Will be taking the linen charge off, and bringing our own!
The service charge is £19.50 which seems a little steep. Plus the entertainment passes come to £28.50!!- they have charged us for for people instead of three, as well, so will rectify that, if we decide to keep them.
We might knock these off as well, as we only ever use the pool, and are not bothered with the entertainment!
My daughter loves the pool though, so we'll see... Might see if there's a local leisure centre where we can take her swimming!
We are going to Donniford bay in Sommerset. Really looking forward to it, but am a bit miffed that the holiday which started off at £62, has, with all the extras come to close to £120,-double the price!
Last year for three nights in a similar park, we paid £72 with all the extras included with the Sun holidays. We are hoping to hear back from these as well soon. Sent off the tokens a couple of weeks ago. trying for a weekend in October.
Anyone doing both holidays, and anyone recieved their confirmation letter form the DM with the extras added on? What did your total holiday cost come to as a matter of interest?

The prices were stated online for the extras at each park, The Sun Holidays too for years now have added these extras on also and are of similar cost.

I received my DM confirmation yesterday, the extras vary from park to park.

I have booked a Sun Holiday and Local Newspaper Holiday too, both these have extras to pay roughly the same as the DM, not exactly as different parks.
