Damn you Egg! New bill is through and they've added interest....
A whole £7.19 :rotfl:
I actually thought it was going to be more than that but either way, new balance is £148.04 which isn't too drastic really
Just looking at my budgets now to see when I'll be debt freeee yaaaaayTotal 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043

Ah for crying out loud. I've just had to clear MORE rent arrears. This is now the third time that I've not paid enough because of it not being worked out right. Had to clear £20.81 worth of arrears. Ah the joys of claiming housing benefit and it being paid direct to the landlord *rolls eyes*.
"Sorry Ms Giles but you should really clear your arrears by the end of the financial year.."
Fair enough, but you guys didn't even TELL me there were going to be arrears.... *sigh*
Oh well. So now I'm currently short of my bill money by £15.21 which is going to have to come out of my living budgets. Yay. That means I can only afford to pay £109.88 off the egg card this week, to make up for the shortfall. *grumpy face*
On the plus side I have £16.40 from musicmagpie to come so once I receive that I can bank it and 'borrow' the money from the bills money as it'll clear before the bills go out to cover it, so that's £126.28 I can pay off the egg card this week..
Damn it if I hadn't had those arrears I'd have enough to pay it off in full!!! How annoying..
I suppose I could find the other £21.76 I need from my other budgets... hmmmm.... I'm going to need all of my social budget this week as I promised Ash I'd take her to pizza hut on saturday, so a meal for 4 of us will easily come to £25  So I'd be looking at taking it from my food budget as I have band practice this week.. Will definitely need all of my £30 petrol budget. Hmmm...
Can I last a week on £28.24 for my food shopping? Hmmmmm....Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043

What's in the freezer ?
Can you do: Tuna pasta bake, baked potatoes, beans on toast, omelettes ?????0 -
I reckon if I did a basic shop of the essentials I'd manage. I've got to have a proper look when I get home but I reckon it could be doable...
Plus you know how determined I am, I'd personally eat beans on toast for a week so long as the kids were fed properly and the debt was cleared. :rotfl::rotfl:Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043

I'm having a think.. and double checking my working out... as if I can stick to a budget of £28.24 for my food, then I can pay off the credit card in full this week.
However, my thinking is this.. I have the money to cover all of my bills in the account already, but my bills don't start going out until next wednesday, so....if I used the bills money to pay the egg card off TODAY., then it'd be replaced by tax credits on friday ANYWAY.... I can't see why it'd cause any problem as the bills aren't even due to go out yet!
Lets have a look at the figures just to make sure...Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043

So after paying egg (which I've included in the bills in the previous post) I'd need £105 left to cover my budgets, when in fact I'd have £107.65 leftover...
So can someone explain to me why I hadn't realised this before and can borrow the money from my bills to make my DFD TODAY?????Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043
