Lovely idea for a present - I've only seen your friends on FB but they are instantly recognisable, so it must be good!

The jobs sound perfect, particularly the one that would run till 2013! Good luck x

B*gger B*gger B*gger! Went £16 over budget on my food shop so my personal budget will have to cover it.. *sigh* I should be getting used to being broke for money for myself! lol! I am finding that tesco is definitely more expensive than asda!! Does anyone else find that? If I go to Asda I come in under budget, but if I go to tesco I'm pretty much always over! D'oh! Will try Asda again next week and see if it was a fluke or something...

Oh well.. so long as they girls are provided for and have everything they need, then me being skint is just another sacrifice of being a mother..

Tesco are dearer I think too.
Pity as tesco is much more convenient for me.
Am going to try them week about I think & see if that helps.
Suppose Mr T has to pay for those clubcard points somehow.

    Evening all!
Ebay money received, sorted and paid off the egg card. :D I did use some of it to get Ash a birthday present, so in all I've paid just shy of £49 off the egg card this afternoon and have another £10 in my purse. I could pay it off the egg card but I might leave it until tuesday when the child benefit goes in, just as a buffer. I'm too paranoid about something unexpected going out, even though all my bills but one have gone out already, and there's the money in there to cover that last bill. I suppose the paranoia just stems from being so close to £0 and every penny being budgetted and accounted for.

But yea, anyway... new egg total £360.08 with another £10 to go :)

Have filled in and sent the application form for the most recent job. Closing date isn't until the 6th April so not expecting to hear anything back for a good while.
    Fingers crossed though.

Aaah a new financial week, a new budget. :D Leftover from last week was £15.40 which I have duly paid off the credit card today. New balance £344.69 :D So close to £300 I can almost taste the 00's :D
So new budget for the coming week... as per usual...

    Food £50
    Petrol £30
    School Dinners £10
    Band £10
    Lesson £12
    Social £25
    Car Tax £18
    Ash's party £25
    Egg £82.09

Thankfully this is the last week of the Ash's party budget so from next week I'll have an extra £25 to throw at the egg card :D So £107.09 total minimum...
ooooh! I'll be debt free in the next few weeks!
Lets see... after friday it'll be at £262.60 so it'll be £107.09 for 2 weeks, followed by 48.42 and then I'm debt free!!! That's makes my DFD 9th April at the latest :D:D woohoo!! :T:T:T:T
