apps for phone onto comp

hi im having probs with downloading apps from satioworld onto comp,the following happens

i click on link i want for game and its coming up do u want to save or cancel so im pressing save,then it starts the download then when done it comes up download complete, options then are, i can open,open folder or close, so i click open and nothing its gone? so i go to search all programs on comp and click open once i have found it again and its coming up with a box saying do i want to save this file and the option to save or cancel and then a warning at the bottom of the box saying
THE FILE U R DOWNLOADING CANNOT B OPENED BY THE DEFAULT PROGRAM.IT IS EITHER CORRUPTED OR IT HAS AN INCORRECT FILE TYPE,AS A SECURITY PRECAUTION IT IS RECOMMENDED THAT U CANCEL THE DOWNLOAD.
now this has happened with any apps that i am trying to get onto comp and even if i press save again it just disappears.
the only place i can find any of these apps is under search all programs but it wont open any of them, has anyone got any ideas whats going on here.

ps this is not just satioworld it seems to be with all apps

there is normally a CD in the box with the phone with the software for the PC

you need to download the files and then transfer them to your phone , the PC will no be able to read them

once you have installed Pcsuite from the CD

connect your phone in pc suite mode.

goto pc suite on phone then click on files.

you'll see a folder called installs. move the downloaded sis or sisx files here.

now on your phone goto settings > app manager > installation files.

no the phone has got pc suite installed tried to use the usb last night but its not opeing any of the files on the comp??

this is what happens when i plug in the usb cable/comp/phone
select usb mode (this is on phone now)
pc suite
media transfer
mass storage
print
and on comp comes up autoplay with a list of sync digital files, open device to view files,import pics and vids. so when i click on open device to view files im getting either memory card or phone memory?

right lol when i double click memory card im getting a list of folders any idea what to do now??

i'd imagine that you would have to use pc suite (or that satio world prog you mentioned) to copy the apps to the phone

and now im getting a message saying windows was unable to install cdc comms interface,windows could not find driver software for ur device.
if u know the manufacturer of ur device u can visit its website and check its support section for driver software.

thanks for that i have tried doing as it says on sony ericsson support to install cdc comms interface but it wont work now im thinking maybe theres something wrong with comp

are you right clicking on the setup program and launching is as an administrator?

ahh comp crached right i have managed to install media go and get my games into that and its saying thats i can transfer games etc but they are not appearing on my phone now grrr
