SKY PLUS problems recording some channels

Hi we have problems recording some channels on SKY plus EG the lips are out of synch or it is jumpy and pixilated. My husband says it is because the box is several years old and we need a new one. Any Ideas Anyone??

Sky say they want £199 for a new box but really they just want to sell us HD which we dont reallhy want. We have done their techie rebooting stuff and it doesnt work

I wondered about buying one off ebay but never have luck there with electircs.

Just thought but why dont you just ask Sky to come and have a look at the box. It will cost you £65 but often this will include a replacement refurbished box which will be a lot more modern than your old box.

Buying one from Ebay shouldnt be a problem.

Hi can I ask has this problem just been in the last couple of weeks?

mine has been the same, put it down to the bad weather, and it is sooooo annoying going to ring sky in a min and find out the crack....

too much of a coincedence that you are having the same problem... so would like to know how long your problem has been going on?
