help with possible spying on a computer

Has she got antivirus software on the PC? It will pickup any keyloggers.0

He could also be using RealVNC to see what's she's typing on the screen at the same time. But more likely a keylogger. He might be also just sniffing all the traffic going through the router, seeing everything she's doing that way. Only way she can really combat it, is to get her own network.
Also any machine on the network can be accessed without the user knowing but just putting, in the run box
\\COMPUTER NAME\c$
and press OK.
If passwords aren't setup you can normally get on and then look through all docs on the hard drive. I use it at work when trying to fix peoples PCs.0 -
In the meantime could she use the net for free in a library or pay a small charge for an internet cafe? Set up another email account that she doesn't go on at home?Just for peace of mind etc? This is a system account and does not represent a real person. Didn't I read on another post here that a temporary answer is to download a virtual keyboard and use that instead of the real keyboard? It should be possible to change the email password without the keylogger picking it up.0

oh dear....If "Any machine can be access" thats a diabolical network set up your company have! Hope its not a company i ever have dealings with.
If you're required to do that for your job you should be designated as "Admin" on all machines on the domain. If Joe Random tries that they should be required to authenticate using either Admin credentials or the actual users details themselves.0 -
Thanks everyone and I will pass the info on.Forty and fabulous, well that's what my cards say....0

Get them to install KEYSCRAMBLER
http://download.cnet.com/KeyScrambler-Personal/3000-2144_4-10571274.html
It works at the 'kernel' level which means that even if there is a keylogger on the computer, keyscambler will make it completely impossible for him to read
Then change all passwords (email accounts, anything money related etc). Make them ALL different, and nothing easy to crack (So no words that can be found in the dictionary for example)
Get her to join this site then ~
Download MALWAREBYTES (Make sure you click 'DOWNLOAD LATEST VERSION')
http://www.filehippo.com/download_malwarebytes_anti_malware/
Open malwarebytes and goto UPDATE and click 'check for updates'. After its updated goto SCANNER and click PERFORM FULL SCAN then click SCAN
Post the log COMPLETE here AFTER youve deleted everything it finds
reboot
Download HIJACK THIS (Make sure you click 'DOWNLOAD LATEST VERSION')
http://www.filehippo.com/download_hijackthis/
Click MAIN MENU then DO A SYSTEM SCAN AND SAVE A LOGFILE(Takes seconds) then post the log so we can see whats running
(do NOT do anything else with Hijack but scan and post the FULL log)
............................................................................
Run COMBOFIX
Shut down your anti virus
Follow the simple instructions it gives
Post the COMPLETE log it creates here (Split into sections if need be)
If it comes up with a RENAMING error then RIGHT click the exe file and RENAME and call it QWERTY (Making the complete file name 'QWERTY.exe') Or SAVE as 'QWERTY' on download:idea:0 -

or mainstream remote access / viewing software eg gotomyPC or PCanywhere0 -
I think that if you use the personalised google start page your search history will follow you around wherever you use it.
I noticed something like this when a search I had only done on my main PC appeared in the drop down list of likely searches on my phone browser.
