Also, house buying is "caveat emptor" which means that the buyer needs to satisfy themselves about what they are buying. It is not for the seller to point out the problems.... it's for the buyer to find them out.
Sorry, but you are all stressing without good cause. It's remarkably easy to find out where someone lives. And if any buyer thought a seller was liable for "whatever" they would involve their solicitor .. .who would know the solicitor acting for the seller ... who would contact the seller .....
We've already exchanged contracts so I am not stressing about that. I personally think they were mad to buy this place without a survey.0 -
our sellers didnt leave their forwarding address. as a result I have a big pile of mail that is going to get returned to sender. this will probably cause them no end of grief - their fault.0

If We Get Any Mail From The Old Owners My Mum Usually Nips Down To The Estate Agent And Leaves It With Them. Aslong As You Write To Everyone Concerned You Should Get All Your Mail And Use The Redirection Service To Catch Any Stragglers0
