Plumber

My relative called a 24 hour plumber because one of her radiators was leaking and she could not get British Gas to answer their phone - she has some insurance against leaking radiators with them. She is 89 and almost blind. The plumber charged her over £800 to replace one radiator.Taking into consideration she considered it an emergency to which he turned up 2 hours later, is this price correct?
Please name and shame the plumber on here. Thousands of people use this site so you can warn a lot of people to avoid him in the future, he is an absolute disgrace.

Before you name and shame you need to call him up to justify his cost. Its pretty impossible he will be able to say how he came up with that price as on the face of it it seems way to much. If he cant justify it and is being unreasonable in not giving money back tell him youll take it to the local papers who I am sure will pick up on the story. Sounds like ur poor realitve has been conned.0
