Fox entering garden and sending my dog scatty

Hi,
Over the last week, we have noticed our dog (chippo x yorkie) go manic in the garden in the evening, he would run in circles around the perimeter distraught.
A few days ago we noticed a fox slip down our neighbours drive, so we realised what was driving our dog nuts.
now after 3 sightings in as many days, yesterday evening we spotted our security light switch on in the back, and brazen as anything the fox was peein all around my back garden, my dog went beserk at the patio doors, desperate to get out (which obv we didn't let him).
The fox stayed for a few more minutes and just sat and stared at my dog going manic, then peed some more then casually left the garden.
My garden backs onto allotments so i can understand with the snow the fox has lost his immediate source of food and hence why we think he is so openly strolling around in the evenings.
We have a bird feeder hung high, but no other food source to attract him.
How can we stop him peeing in our garden and can my dog get anything from the foxes pee?
I have read a few sites about foxes and am feeling assured fox wont attack my dog.
Any advice would be gratefully recieved, my poor dog couldn't be distracted for a good hour or two after this and was quite distressed.

I guess as far as the fox is concerned he's marking HIS territory...I don't think he will be impressed by the fact you are listed in the land registry.:rotfl:0

Pull your curtains so dog cant see fox
Let your dog out to chase fox
Go get some lions poo to scatter about the garden
Try all or some of the above0 -

My dog just knows when fox is closeby, thinks it's the smell thing,
Am way too scared to let dog out to chase it as he is little and will go nuts and don't want fox to attack him in defence, they carry mange so don't want dog sick.
lions poo?:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: do u have some to lend? xxxx#JusticeForGrenfell0 -

I've just googled and u r right it does exsist! (learnt something new today!)
but what would i do with it?
i only have lawn, no flower beds xxx
am i meant to leave clumps on my lawn?
would my dog not be offended at the lions poo? and does it actually work?
or is it a myth as some say when u google xxx
It's meant to work on cats? a fox is dog family? or am i totally misguided? xxxxxx
many thanks xxx#JusticeForGrenfell0 -
Another thing you can get is a liquid called Renardine- Mind you it has a strong smell. You can either dip twigs in it and arrange them around the garden or paint it onto your fence.
I used to use it all the time when I Childminded. Now we've plenty of Foxes nut they don't bother me.Self Employed, Running my Dream Jobs0 -
just looked that up :
The History of Renardine
Now illegal, Renardine was the only legally-permitted badger-repellent chemical in the UK. In continuous use since 1896, it kept most pests and pets away. Renardine was often used to banish CATS, DOGS, RABBITS, FOXES, MOLES and BADGERS from Gardens, Golf Greens, Farms, Small Holdings, Parks and Playing Fields
which is a shame as i would have given that a go xxxxx thanks though, im willing to try anything xxx#JusticeForGrenfell0 -
Thanks for that. What a shame it is now banned.Self Employed, Running my Dream Jobs0

Aww how sweet. Can you take a photo of it? I love seeing photos of wildlife
I know Foxes are classed as Vermin but they are so cute.
