thanks bingo for adding me - i dont have the £100 to start with just yet but ince i gather up some money i will consider using that £100
i have counted what was in my moneybox this morning and will put it in2 an old milk carton with the lid glued tight - my total was £25.85
also have 28 items on ebay, selling toal just over £16 so will have to work out profits once they have all sold. i defo dont need to buy anything to sell - got plenty of my own junk lol!
doubt i will get anywhere near £10k but will give it a go! on that notes does any2 have anu suggestions with regards to a separate bank account to hold the extra money - preferably online, and the one with the most cashback
right off to catch up on the old thread - currently on pg 53 (day 3 lol!)0 -
hi add me to this challenge please.
i average 15 to 20 hours overtime - so thats £108.30 -£144.40 a month extra take away a bit for tax and ni.Not really comping any more as too ill - but hoping to win £1000+ in 2017 in cash prizes - watch this space!0 -
had quiet a successful day yesterday - well, a lot of time in the car, but picked up 4 pick up only lots - total was £25. Already made £20 from the cd's I found -thanks music magpie, and discovered a couple of nice lazy susans, and a cup with an inside - looks as though its where you put the tea in, pour the tea over, and you can pull the ceramic bit out. Chinese in style...anyone know what they are called?
sounds like a good find, may i ask where you come accross the pick up only lots? are they through local listings? might have to do some research for my area. Thanks to all who post comps :T0 -
Has anyone any experience of selling on Play/Amazon as a new user? I thought the Play.com 5 free trades looked good, but do you think it is a lot less likely buyers will buy off someone with no rating?
Was really careful to be as accurate and honest as possible about the condition of the book.
weigh and measure it first with packaging to work out what it will cost you to post. Then work out what you would be happy to sell it for bearing in mind that amazon will take 86p of sale plus 17.?% and also about 49p of postal charge.

well, no money made for me today yet but I have listed a few books on Amazon (1st try with Amazon) so we shall see, also put a few things in local paper cos classifieds are free and after my sale within 2 hours yest am inspired by that, also today I have accquired a new bed for my son thanks to my brothers offcasts and he is now clearing his attic and giving me all the bags of baby clothes cos he was going to take them to tip, so ebay bundles here we come! Have offered to share the money but he doesn't want anything so any hard work I put in will reap rewards for me, you'll be surprised how many people will willingly give you stuff once they know you are doing this, alot of people don't have time or inclination to sell their own stuff on and are just happy to be rid of the clutter, but as I always say 'where there is muck there is money!'0

KOSMA - found this on ebay http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ROYAL-MAIL-POST-OFFICE-LETTER-SIZE-PRICE-GUIDE-MEASURE_W0QQitemZ260339161943QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_Envelopes_Mailing_Bags?hash=item3c9d6c5b57 For a few quid might last better than cardboard. I have invested myself!
Well, this morning I have registered some domain names. Bought some packaging supplies and tried to stop myself from shouting at the kids too much!!
I shall change my ebay account to business, set up another one for private sales and start listing clothes etc.
off to grab some lunch!
thanks, looks very good, gonna watch it for now, tbh, until i start making some money back reluctant to spend any more right now, but maybe next week if i hopefully get more sales, it looks like they have a few in stock anyway so will get one when i start making moneyThanks to all who post comps :T0 -
Anybody know if I can sell a Jack Daniels gift set that includes 2 bottles of jackdaniels minature?Live for what tomorrow has to bring, not what yesterday has taken away0

Can I be added to this please? I sell lots on Ebay and am working my way through all my second hand stuff (as well as Business stuff).
I've just been reading through the first thread and got to page 33 (can't believe there are 141 pages).
Was seeing lots of posts about BingoBritain, so I registered, when I tried to add funds, the minimum it would allow was £10 (lots on the other thread were saying about adding £5 so not sure if they have changed it).
I just wanted to ask if someone can help me, I tried to add £10 with my debit card but it was declined, there is no one on Live Help to ask, also when I do manage to add £10, obviously they give me £10, so will I have to play the £20 to get the free £5?
Thanks in advance.

No, you cannot sell alcohol as I discovered when I listed one in error and had it pulled. (Mine was a Horse Racing Game with a minature in)Boots Card - £17.53, Nectar Points - £15.06 - *Saving for Chrimbo*2015 Savings Fund - £2575.000 -

That could be useful ... there is definitely money in selling the tools to the gold miners, if you know what I mean. I could have done with this the other day when the Post Office Teller was trying to up-sell me to a packet ... my large letter fitted through the guide in the Post office easily but he insisted that it touched the edges so was trying to make me pay more ... apparently (it seems) the letter is supposed to base jump through the hole not touching the sides anywhere ... makes you think of those wire coils you have to guide the hoop over to reach the end without setting off the alarm. I wouldn't mind but the only bit that slightly touched the edges, was the end of the envelope I folded over to tidy it up, because whenever you leave a slightly flappy bit, the Royal Mail's dated sorting machinery rips it to shreds
