time for breakfast, was going to post lego today but makes more sense to post tomoro when auctions finish tonight and then post all in one go, bit chilly today and have got the dreaded lergy cold0

Good advice James-try a local jewellers first to see how much they'd pay you per gram-could be pleasantly suprised!
Hi Cally-hope you feel better soon, it is cold today, i'm just trying to light the fire..stupid thing won't go!0 -
Sales are slow here too. I think it's the wrong time of the year and everyone is skint after xmas. It'll be payday soon so it may boost some sales again.
I have formulated two of my ideas and working on them but don't expect to make any money from them for a few months yet, but hopefully the rewards will come.
Apart from that nothing doing here at the mo.0 -
Hi Yukki-think i will look at this month as training! sort of a practice run and hope things pick up next month :-)0

Lol Im not really very good at much and with 2 young kids i dont have a lot of time either. This challenge is helping me keep the blues at baby being a s-a-h-m for the next 6 months, but im feeling kind of low because i cant find anything im good at (not that i could sell anyway).
Help me cheer up or ill never be in the right frame of mind! LOL
is there anything you are good at/enjoy doing? There are so many things that could make money, not just selling on ebay.
I am selling on ebay because it fits in around my life and kids.....
Whitewillow...take some time to think about what you would like to do, what you can do and what you would be happy doing..... It is only january after all and 11 months still to go!moneymakestheworldgoround wrote: »AAAAAAGH
Cant sell my Wii ! I have a brand new in box black Wii and thought it would sell. No luck on ebay, and no interest on play.com despite it being one of the lowest priced consoles.
Was considering which bank account to pay my money into to keep it separate, but have now decided to buy premium bonds with it - anyone else doing this??
Struggling with sales at the moment though
Money, can you afford to hang on to the wii??? Have you tried putting it in the local papers? Cards in post office/local newsagent/supermarket?
I love the idea of premium bonds....that is totally inspired... It would stop me from spending it. I think I shall sit and work out how much profit I will reinvest, how much to keep as float and how much each month to invest in premium bonds. I realise that the 'interest rate/returns' on premium bonds is low but you 'might' win the big one. As Gordon Ramsey would say....Challenge..... DONE!
I'm off to list more tat on ebay and sort out my office.....I can't see out the window for stock on the sill!!
Have a good day everyone....

Quick ebay question. If you use turbolister to schedule your listings do you till pay 6p per listing for scheduling them?

Thanks for the advice guys, this was my local goldsmith in town, I know of them and they have quite a good rep so I think I'll stick with them! When I went in he said he had heard horror stories of the on-line / TV companies.
Think the remote control cars would go well at car boot, you could have one set up and drive it around with the price tag on!!Mum to 2 DSs, dog mum, wife full-time worker.
