Make an obstacle course and charge people for having a go with small prize if they complete it?
Make a race track so 2 people can compete against each other and have 2 cars on the go. 50 p each and winner gets 75p. or something like that.

Get the base of a large box and make a circuit for it!!

lol-you are a genius! might give that a go :-)0 -
more seriously you might spend more in spare batteries and making a track than you recoup. But there may be a way of doing it that works out.

Thanks for the advice guys, this was my local goldsmith in town, I know of them and they have quite a good rep so I think I'll stick with them! When I went in he said he had heard horror stories of the on-line / TV companies.
Think the remote control cars would go well at car boot, you could have one set up and drive it around with the price tag on!!
this place gave me more than my local jewlers http://www.cashforyourgold.co.uk/
they arn't a tv co and you weigh it yourself before you send they gave me 8.25per g local was offering 5.50 g
i even got more than i thought as my scales are rubbish.
the cars i would sell at the car boot for a few quid profit don't think you'd get many parting with even a 10er at the car boot people are stingey lol
i'm finding buy it now on ebay is a lot slower than auctions and the sales tend to trickle in rather than flood.
shocked at some of the bin prices that some shops are putting up for used or bnwot baby clothes 12.99 etc for stuff you can get at booties/charity shops i guess someone must buy them!0 -

Using premium bonds is a great idea. I’ve been wondering how to stop myself from spending the money, but what if I need the money to re-invest in stock? How easy is it to withdraw amounts?0

Blah....woke up feeling rubbish today :<
Then when I checked my email, had a long-awaiting response from a job I had applied & interviewed for - didn't get it :<<<
Was feeling really disappointed as it would have been great, as it fit into my other plans and would have given me time to develop my business ideas. However, I am a believer that everything happens for a reason so I am trying to pick myself up, dust myself down and carry on!
I'm currently in the middle of relocating from up North to London, spent the weekend trying to get packed up & am feeling a bit worn out and run down now which doesn't help! I'm relocating, trying to find a job & also am supposed to be planning a wedding.....
So my money making efforts have ground to a bit of a halt at the moment cos there's just too much going on. Hoping to get moving again once I've settled into the new place. Still trying to finish sorting out my ebay sales from last week, I'm really bad but a couple of items are still waiting to be posted. I've emailed the buyers to let them know about the delay, but I always seem to drag things like this out, rather than get it all boxed off!
Anyway enough of my moaning, better go and get on....0 -
hope you feel better later cherry jReplies to posts are always welcome, If I have made a mistake in the post, I am human, tell me nicely and it will be corrected. If your reply cannot be nice, has an underlying issue, or you believe that you are God, please post in another forum. Thank you0

to those considering premium bonds I really wouldn't. You get a MUCH better return on your money from a savings account. A few years ago I had the full amount stashed in premium bonds (Oh for those days!!) for well over a year and my 'winnings' were neglible, and I think I worked out that I could have had double the amount of my winnings in interest over the year....but of course you do have the chance of winning the Big One!! LOL!Life is a work in progress0
