I'm thinking of doing gifts for guests at weddings. Do you think it could work? Personalised gifts for guests too!

i think it could work really well with a bit of research, what type of gifts, and what budget are you looking at? big lavish weddings or more down to earth? how are you planning on targeting your market (other than ebay)

  • Just got some more motivation...OH has an interview for a job in Spain, we could go together if we can afford rent, etc.

Anywhere near Barcelona? I love living in Spain, definitely staying put!

I think this is a great idea and did something similar for my small wedding and guests, unfortunately the gifts were more loyal then the husband was lol!!

I would target wedding photographers, wedding shows, dress shops, hate to say it.........ebay and set up a site of your own as well. Really good idea

Good questions :) I'm thinking of targetting lavish weddings where it's clearer that the party want to "one up the Jones's". I'm thinking of "gift boxes" - not quite sure what to do put in them :p Targetting will be word of mouth and maybe leaflets -before the Summer and maybe a local newspaper?
  • Hmm, just wondered if anyone has any ideas for me?
I don't have very many belongings, so selling on ebay isn't really an option right now. I'm launching my own site but that'll take a week or so to promote, and sales will probably be unpredictable for a while.
Usually I write articles for an online 'magazine' about fashion, love, etc, and am paid well for it. There was no work this week, though, and there might not be next week, so that's a big chunk of my income gone...I do Dooyoo, but that's a lot slower.

I've joined the bingo, but no luck yet.
Any ideas would be appreciated :)
