I just got an email from dooyoo saying that I had multiple accounts and they they have been closed - set two up for my parents but stupidly used the same passwords.
I have set up another one account for myself to use (i.e. I will only have and use this one account), anyone know if they will let me do this now? I have used different email and passwordMake £10k in 2010 Challenge: £19.70/£10,000 : Items to sell = £54.61150 NSD in 2010 Challenge: 8/150"He is no fool who gives what he cannot keep to gain what he cannot lose"0 -
Had a great week. I had some stuff that I was given 3 years ago instead of cash for a portrait commission and decided to list it on ebay, well the listings ended yesterday and I made £115.56 after fees and postage. I've also had winnings from bingobritain and matched betting so added another £196.68 to my total. woohoo!!
Pretty sure I'm not going to be able to keep up the pace though as being a complete tight-wad I don't have much nice stuff to sell on and I very rarely buy clothes, so everything in my cupboard is well usedI can't even save extra money on things like hairdressers 'cos I've not been to one for 12 years.
I did take the plunge and buy some stock to sell on ebay later in the year, even though I see some folk are already trying to unload the same stuff now, with varied success. I really think you need to get your timing right to optimise the selling potential, but I do understand their eagerness to make a quick buck fast rather than having it all sitting around.
I guess I really should try selling my artwork as that's my strong point, but maybe I need to buy some nice clothes to wear for visiting gallery owners. I tried a couple local galleries but my subject matter isn't "the type of thing that sells well with our customers" their customers want flowers and landscapes, Yawn!! Trouble is that although I know my stuff is really good (even the gallery owners admitted that much), I don't know how to promote myself, I really lack the confidence to push myself forward especially face to face, I get so anxious. Anyone fancy being my agent?...my website link is in my profileTurn £100 into £10,000 in 2010 member # 247

Where can I get cheap bubble wrap and brown parcel paper?!!
You could ask at your local supermarkets for bubble wrap, quite alot of the fruit & veg (loose & bagged) comes packed with bubble wrap inbetween so it doesnt get bruised in transit and then you can get it FREE!!!!!!!!Official DribblerThis is the year to #getfit0 -

cakeordeath - WOW! just had a look at your website, your stuff is absolutely amazing! There is a small art dealer/ gallery here that sells paintings and drawings like yours, I know this because I really wishI had the money to buy some, I spend way too long looking. How would you go about getting your work seen by them though? don't know the procedure! But you definately have good avenue there, very impressed!turn £100 into £10000 in 2010 member #16 £567.68/£10,000 -I'm a wiggly worm, I'm a wiggly worm, how do you do, I love you, I'm wiggly worm!0

in the worst case scenario you can cancel bids - you need your bidders to agree to it I think (done it once a while ago), but it can be done - but you do have 2 days, plus whatever despatch time you listed at (e.g. 2 or 3 working days) so you may just make it. Can you chase your items?
If they don't come, just keep in communication with your buyers - that will help.0
