Loved your post Ladymoon, and love your mum, good to know you are always going to get her support.. really made me laugh.

I'm looking to get some professional looking headed paper done, cheaply. I've got a name for my busines, but no logo.

Any ideas on going about getting a logo and headed paper?

Have you looked at Vistaprint, you can get quite a few freebies as well with them. But the down side is they send emails nearly every day after you make an order offering you even more deals.. some people accuse them of spam :D

i say they are just marketing to get repeat business... tends to work hehe

hi just out of interest is there a cashback site that you can use for bingo britain or do you just sign up directly? want to give it a go this weekend.

alos if anyone can recommend a good interest regular saver i would appreciate - gona put away between £20-£30 in reg saver and forget about it, and it can be for a max 3year term

    thanks

I opened a savings account with Egg. 1.25% but and extra 2% at the end of the year. Was the best at the time, not so sure now.

So long as it's winning and not the bonus money you can withdraw it,so for example £24.00 is winnings and £2.00 is still part of the £5.00 bonus money, you could withdraw £24.00 but you would loose the £2.00.

Wow, sat here now with tears streaming down my face. He's so positive, it makes me feel guilty to feel sorry for him, if that makes any sense!

I bet those kids will remember that lesson so many times through the rest of their lives.

  • Hye everyone long time lurker on this thread. I think you are all doing fab with brilliant ideas. I followed the advice for bingo britain and won £55 last night so I was well chuffed. I was wondering if any ebay-ers had seen the radley dog tags, they are on the website for £5 and normally ebay for about 10-15.

right then, what I have learnt from using vistaprint....

1 - set up a new email address for just vistaprint, then you can just ignore them!!
2 - put what you want in your basket, then leave it for a few days. They will nearly always reduce the price or offer it (or an add on) free.

    HTH

So far today I have two sales on ebay, best offers and a bit lower than I wanted but still a sale and a small profit on each one, and I want to get rid!!

I am really wondering now if I should concentrate all my efforts into getting my online store open or if I should carry on with buying and selling bits (nothing in particular) on ebay as a sideline to keep some pennies rolling in..... decisions, decisions!

Yesterday I managed to talk to a wholesaler about some bits I am interested in for my website and found out some info that I wouldn't necessarily have found on my own. I now have a list of over 100 companies that wholesale lines in the area that I will be selling....... Its worth chatting to wholesalers, even if you are not going to use them as it might lead onto different avenues.

Does anyone else struggle with too many ideas? I am finding it really hard to concentrate my mind on one thing at a time. I feel I am thinking too far ahead, I know its good to plan but I do feel I am letting myself run ahead of the process too much. Maybe I need to sit and do more planning on paper......
